An argument to dispel the controversy over cannabis; both hemp and marijuana are both a part of the cannabis genus. As well, they contain the same compounds, which include cannabidiol and tetrahydrocannabinol, among many others.
CBD is known for its non-intoxicating benefits, while THC is known for its ability to cause a "high" or euphoria, both of which have a range of therapeutic properties. Rethinking The Word Cannabis:
There is only one major difference between hemp and marijuana, and that’s the amount of THC both contain. However, it’s an extremely big difference because the industrial plant has too low of an amount to cause a high or other side effects. So the next time you hear cannabis don’t immediately think it refers to a plants that just gets you "high".

I’ve always been a skeptic about the health claims of Cannabis. I figured most people were just potheads trying to couch their addiction in flowery health claims.
Our elderly, formerly feral cat Toof has a tumor on his jaw. He’s terminal and trying to give him his pain medication is a stressful, traumatic experience for him and us. My vet suggested trying CBD for him. She said it would help calm him down and possibly stimulate his appetite as well.
I found a bunch of online retailers but I ultimately went with Innovet. I cannot believe the change in his demeanor and health. Of course, he is still terminal but he’s hanging in there and the CBD has really added to his quality of life. He is regularly eating and engaging with us. His whole life he has avoided us or hissed if we got too close, but now he is rubbing up against our legs and meowing. He purrs when I pet him. He eats as best as he can and looks forward to mealtimes. I don’t know how much time he has left but the time he does have is 100% better with the CBD.

We began giving our now 15-year old cat Innovet *** oil several years ago when he developed chronic sinusitis and horrible congestion. The vet we consulted said she could not really prescribe or recommend it but that we might give *** oil a try, as she had a client with a cat with the same issues and he swore by it. So we started Linus on a dropper of *** a day and he has stayed clear of congestion since, except for occasional sneezing and a mild snuffle or two.

Innovet CBD Oil for Cats has helped my 15 year old kitty so much. She has Diabetes, Pancreatitis & CKD. The Pancreatitis is very painful & she was on narcotics. I slowly switched her over to the CBD Drops & they helped her instead of the narcotics.
